【摘要】:Thistestmethodshouldbeusedtodetermineifanantimicrobialpreservespigmentsuspensions,dyesolutions,pulpslurries,starchsolutions,polymers,sizingagents,latexemulsions,andotheraqueous-basedmaterialsusedinthepaperindustryfrombacterialspoilage.1.1Thislaboratorytestmethodisusedtodeterminetheefficacyofanantimicrobialforpreventingbacterialspoilageofin-processaqueous-basedproductsusedinthepaperindustry.Forinformationonfungalspoilage,seeTestMethodE875.Thistestmethodshouldbeperformedbypersonswhohavehadbasicmicrobiologicaltraining.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
